    I have just purchased TipCalc, I have two request. One to increase the "Bill amount" to 4 digits, instead of 3. Two, add a option to change currency symbol. I live in South Africa and meals generally are in the 1000s of Rands for three people.

    Deon,

    First off thanks for the purchase.

    1) We never thought about currencies that are so high for common things, will have to look into fixing that. For now you could divide the initial bill by 10 (move the decimal 1 place to the left) then multiply all the resulting values by 10 (move the decimal 1 place to the right) to get the correct amounts. Not the most ideal solution, we will have to think about this.

    2) With version 1.1 the currency symbol should be based on the default setting for the selected region on the device. The region is set in Settings->General->International->Region Format. When the region is changed to South Africa on the US iPhone we then see R's instead of $'s.

    I upgraded to version 1.1 which resolved the currency symbol query, thank you. When do you anticipate the resolution of "Bill amount" to 4 digits? Moving the decimal is not a ideal solution!

    I am finishing up the first version of my next program, once that is submitted to Apple I will take a look at the 4 digits for the bill amount.

    Event if I somehow got a solution done right now it would be awhile due to how slow Apple is at posting the updates to the AppStore. When I do submit a new version for Apple to review I will post a little something here letting you know.

    Deon,

    I just uploaded TipCalc version 1.2 to Apple for review, I have no idea how long it will take for them to approve it.

    The following changes were made:
    - Added a thousands place for bill amount, helpful for currencies such as the Mexican Peso and South African Rand.
    - Numbers on the picker wheels are slightly larger and centered.
    - The info screen now loads quicker and uses less memory and CPU.
