I have attempted to e-mail my BP results to myself (as a test before sending to my GP) and so far I have not received any of them. Am wondering if I need to set something up to do this or is it that this is not set-up to work in Australia? Would appreciate your feedback please.

  2. Flight,

    A few quick basic questions:

    - Are you using an iPod Touch or iPhone?

    - Is the built in mail program on the device setup and working? BP Tracker sends the text to the built in mail program and it handles the actual emailing.

    - When you click the time frame you want to email in BP Tracker does the built in mail program show up with the data from BP Tracker?

    - Can you normally send an email to yourself on this device? Sometime I notice Gmail not working correctly when sending emails to myself, they do not show up in my inbox but do show up in my sent mail.

    Look forward to your response.

    Thank you for the purchase

    Hi Sean,
Thanks for getting back to me so promptly.

I am using a 3G iPhone and yes it is all set up and working. In fact the answer to all your questions above is 'yes'.

Interestingly I attempted again to send data last night except this time I sent it to my .me account and it worked! The reason Im thinking then that it may not have sent the previous versions is that I was trying to send it from one account to another with similar names from the same ISP ie. from my old dial up (and back-up account) which is: username@bigpond.com to account: username@bigpond,net.au (which is my main account). These are both set up to work from my iPhone but maybe one cancels out the other whenever attempting to send from one to the other?

I also have a hotmail account so I will try that and see if that works, if so then Im going to assume that all is well.

I had only attempted to send this info to myself to start with to make sure all was ok before sending to it my GP so hopefully all is as it should be and I've just been doing all this to confuse everyone!

    Regards,
    Rob

I just purchased BP Tracker mainly because I could email my results to my Doctor. But I cannot find any key for starting an email within the app. Where do I find this? I have clicked on everything I can find in the app and nothing relates to emailing.

  6. Jgumphress,

On the bottom toolbar click the fourth icon over, the one that is a box with an arrow comming out of it, that will give you a sheet with the email options. The iPhone/iPod touch must have the built-in email configured for this to work.

    Hope that helps

    Hello,

Bought your BP ap and pleased with it but e-mail not working. Everything I have tried gets a message "Cannot Send Mail-An error occurred while delivering this message." Tried several different mail addresses and the same thing occurs. All other mail is working normally on my Iphone.

Oooopps! Sorry, my mistake. We have different settings for various e-mail address and one needed a password. Now works perfectly.

  8. Gerry,

Glad you figured that out, that would have been hard to debug from my end.

    Thanks for the purchase
