hi !
i want to tell you a problem.
i had an event on 1 juanuary 2008. when i opened ticker, it was written : 1year ....
but when i opened the text, 2008 year disapear and it looks like if the event was the 1juanuray 2009.
So is it possible to keep in the possibility one or two years ago (2007 et 2008).
because all the date will be wrong or erased.
i hope you understand my english.

When you say "opened the text" do you mean editing the event (the screen where it shows title, description, icon, date and repeat) or do you mean editing just the date (where you choose the year and month with sliders and the date wheel)?
If you could provide me with that information it will help clear up your original message.

yes it's when i choose the year.
2008 is not possible.
So i must touch anything for the event made in 2008.
because if i edit the date 2008 desepear
my event for the 1 janvier 2008 was transformed in 1er janvier 2009 after editing just the date;

The problem you are having is not a bug that is just how I have it programmed, the year slider only shows the current year and beyond. Do you think I should change it to include the past year? How far back do you think the slider should go back 1 year, 2 years 5 years?
For now if you really want to select a past date you can go to the beginning of the current year and use the date wheel to go back to the date you want in the previous year. Once you do this you can not go back into the date edit screen or else it will be set to the current year.
I will think about a way to better implement this.

yes i think that it will be good to include the past year. one or two years will be good.

I'm also looking for a way to input data from 2008. But I'm not following what you mean by 'if you really want to select a past date you can go to the beginning of the current year and use the date wheel to go back to the date you want in the previous year'. I still end up in 2009.
So far this app looks like exactly what I was looking for, but adding data for 2008 would be helpful.

Try this:
Create a new standard event, click to edit the date, and move the first section of the date wheel back to Dec 31st then click the back button "Event x of y" you should have an event for Dec 31 2008. Now you can go back to the edit date screen and change the date in 2008 as long as you don't use the 'Choose a year:" slider the date should stay in 2008, unless you cross a year boundary with the date wheel.
Hopefully that works for you until I get a new version uploaded.
