Getting graphs off the iPhone

(8 posts)
  1. How do I get a graph off of the phone? I bought the app b/c I was assuming the graph would be attached to the email feature but it doesn't appear to be the case. I thought maybe graphs could be exported to Photo album but I also don't seem to be able to so that. :(

If I can't get the graph onto my computer where I can print it I'm afraid I've wasted money buying this app. Otherwise it looks really nice.

  2. Notsleepy,

There is no need to add the functionality to BP Tracker.

The iPhone has a built-in shortcut to take a screen shot of the current screen, just press and hold the sleep/wake button on the top of the phone and tap the home button. A screen shot will be put in your 'Camera Roll' of the 'Photos' application which then will be imported to iPhoto when you sync with iTunes.

    Hope that helps

Sean.....I was blown away by your screen shot tip. I needed that to send a copy of the numerical summary of the readings to the Doc. When I Email the various readings it only sends the readings and not the summary for that period. Thanks for a great app.

  4. JimA,

Glad you found that tip helpful, I have used it to get a screen grab of a web page before going into a bad cell area.

Thank you for the purchase and feedback.

  6. Bigtom,

Sorry for the late response, I have been on vacation.

Are you asking how to delete the screen grabs that are placed in the Camera Roll on the Photos app?

If so view the album and click the box with an arrow comming out of it, you can now click each picture and hit the red delete button.

I have a version that will allow direct emailing of the graphs, I just need to finish it up a bit and submit it to Apple.

    Regards

No, Sean, My graph (chart) is now almost 1 year old and getting so scrunched up that it is no longer useful.
You used to have a week or month's view, but that choice has disappeared. So I would like to delete the present chart and start again.
    Thanks, bigtom

  8. Bigtom,

What version of BP Tracker are you using? Version 1.3 (the latest release) has buttons at the top of the graph to select different time periods to filter the graphs, are you not seeing these?
The graph view interface should look like the image in this link: graph interface

Please let me know if you are seeing something different
