Would love to see.......

    Really like the app and the countdown feature! I would really like to see the following added:

    1) MOST IMPORTANT... The ability to add event frequency to include: Weekly,
    Monthly, and Yearly (I saw you left WEEKLY out in a another post
    these are what I need to keep track of I my world)

    2) More icons from which to choose.

    3) An alarm (I read the other posts and I am aware of the current constraints)just
    adding my vote.

    4) Some form of "calculator". Example, if someone is turning 30 on their B-day and it
    is set as a yearly event, would be great if next year it shows as 31st B-day.

    I like this app and look forward to seeing it develop and grow!

    1) Will add a weekly repeat option.

    2) I have added a few for the next release, need to find more. I am not an artist so I must license icons from others.

    3) This is on my list to add.

    4) Interesting idea, will have to think about the best way to implement it. Probably not something that will make the 1.1 release but maybe a release after that.

    Thank you for taking the time to not only respond but use the feedback that you receive (glad to know "weekly" recurring will make it). Just curious do you kow when you plan to release 1.1?

    One last suggestion (if I may). I found a similar app called "Countdown", (I'm sticking with yours)! In it,the app allows you to associate custom images from the photo library. Might be nice to have.

    As for when 1.1 will be released? Last night I added the recurring event functionality. I need to do some more testing and would like to get in a few other small things. After that I will upload the update for Apple to review which can take 1 -2 weeks, maybe they are getting faster now.

    As for the app "Countdown", I have seen it and the ability to assign custom icons. I have always wanted to add that ability, just have not gotten to it yet. You can be sure it is on my list.

    Thanks again for taking the time to answer my questions. Maybe this is a dumb question but since yours is the only app I have purchased, how will I know when 1.1 hits the app store?

    gsr852,

    The 'App Store' icon on your iPhone or iPod touch will display a red circle with a number inside it (like the new mail indicator), once in the 'App Store' just click the Updates tab in the lower right corner to update any apps with pending updates. I am not sure if iTunes will check automatically, but the auto update on the iPhone works well.
