Why there is no iPhone SDK
According to DigiTimes Apple is going to move the iPhone over to the upcoming mobile platform from Intel. This sounds like a good explanation of why Apple has not released an iPhone SDK, they are waiting to for the Intel versions so they can release the SDK supporting universal binaries (arm, x86).
